Along with Hostē’s detailed and rigorous standard cleaning practices we’ve added more steps to ensure that high volume surfaces get extra cleaning with antibacterial products. Along with washing their hands before entering, and upon entering the home our team members ALWAYS wear gloves when in the homes and if anyone is showing signs of being unwell, we’ve asked them not to come to work. We also have all our linens and towels professionally laundered where they are sanitized and then wrapped before being transported to the home. We are paying close attention to recommendations put forth by the CDC and implementing additional precautions as they are recommended if necessary. We know that this is a scary time for everyone, and we want you to know that we are here for you. With living/dining/cooking areas across its 3 floors, this one offers space, accommodating design and a location central to it all. There’s a balcony private to the master bedroom & bath straight from a design magazine, and a sense of quality & care throughout this wonder of a short-term rental that will serve you, your family or your group! The Space: This listing represents the main home on a larger property that also includes a separate basement unit. There is one entrance to the main building and access to the lower level. Access after parking on the street in front of the home. You’ll enter at the main level, slightly raised above ground at the red front door. Immediately, you’ll enter into a bright and open foyer with large, airy windows and ceilings 2 stories high. From here you can access the upper living bedrooms and baths, or explore the main living areas. With an open, accommodating design concept, the living-room/kitchen/dining-room is a “great” room indeed. Spacious and modern, there’s room to entertain or just to relax and expand with your friends or loved ones in comfort. The design here is minimalist but you’ll be drawn to the gas fireplace in the center of the living room, the comfortable seating, and the access to the patio outside offering easy access to outdoor living under the clear, Colorado skies. The kitchen, too, is inviting. The surfaces are wood and quartz, tile and stainless steel. This is a chef’s kitchen, fully ready for your culinary creations and built to help you eat, feed, create and entertain. There’s a small bedroom on this floor featuring a bunk bed, perfect for the kids. But the real fun is upstairs, where the master awaits. Featuring king comfort as well as access to a private balcony facing west toward the mountains and the sunset—you won’t want to leave after an evening or two spend under a Colorado sky as the sun sets over Pikes Peak, “America’s Mountain.” The master bath is equally as inviting, featuring a stand-alone tub, dual heads in the spacious shower, and fixtures and finesse wherever you look. This is good design, here. There are two additional bedrooms on this floor, each offering queen comfort and quality linens, professionally laundered. An additional bathroom services these two rooms as well. Lower Level Enter this lower-level unit from the south side of the larger house. As you enter into the main living space using the private electronic code provided, you'll immediately note the design quality here and the modern, stylish décor. The kitchen and living room are open and combined, perfect for entertaining or for a social evening spent creating a culinary masterpiece in the fully-functional kitchen. There's bar seating for five, and a comfortable sofa in the living room. The kitchen features coated wooden counters, a large basin sink, stainless steel appliances and restaurant-style faucet. The two bedrooms are off to the sides of the main living space. Both offer KING beds, with quality linens, professionally cleaned and laundered. One bedroom features an additional bunk bed, perfect for the kids. And unique to this space, next to both bedrooms are little relaxation rooms featuring voluminous bean-bags—a unique place to rest after a long day's explorations and fun. The Neighborhood: Just a few blocks northwest of Downtown Colorado Springs, this short-term rental property is located in a transitioning semi-urban, semi-suburban neighborhood. Access to the urban amenities of Colorado Springs is superb, with restaurants, cafés, bars, shopping, nightlife and events just a few minutes away by foot, bicycle or car. Colorado Springs’ own private liberal arts school, the historic Colorado College, is just a few blocks away. Monument Valley Park—with a pool, playground, creek and pickle ball courts—is equally close. Located as it is on the westside of town, some of the other, more outdoor and mountain amenities that make Colorado Springs such a unique place to visit are close too: Garden of the Gods is just about 5 minutes away by car, and Pikes Peak, the Manitou Incline, the Broadmoor, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo … are all just about 10 minutes away. Combining a unique and classic semi-urban feel with amazing access to the "outside" — this area is a superb location for your next Colorado Springs stay. Getting Around: Although there are plenty of restaurants, bars, cafés, breweries, craft distilleries, shopping and outdoor recreational opportunities close to this property (within walking or biking distance), we recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation. Other Things to Note: ATTENTION: * We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc. * Pets are NOT allowed in this property; * Please let us know if the trash is overflowing - we will fix that for you! * There is central AC throughout the home The owner's dogs- Mumford and Maurice may be seen from time to time in the back yard of the home. They are very friendly :) Additional Services: - We cannot guarantee an early check-in, as we need time to make sure this property is perfect for you before your stay!
