This home has everything you need to feel at home: quiet neighborhood, well stocked kitchen, very walkable to Old Colorado city shopping and dining, and close to hiking and dog friendly trails. To give you peace of mind, we have a 5 star cleaning team that keeps this home immaculately clean and disinfected (especially high-touch areas) so you can enjoy your stay and feel safe. Permit: STR-0535 The Space: This incredible home boasts ageless character and simple, classic appeal with plenty of on-street parking, allowing for easy access. Enter through the front door into the main level living area, with formal dining room and parlor. The windows are big, the spaces are warm, inviting and bright. The couch is comfortable and the feeling, the sense is one of instant, welcoming invitation. Continue through the main living space into the kitchen, handsome, well-appointed and functioning. Guest Access: The home's single bathroom is at the rear of the house, itself clean and charming with a full shower/bath combo. The first bedroom is accessible from the main living room also and features a comfortable full size bed, high ceilings and plenty of storage space. Access the single flight of stairs from the rear of the house to ascend to the upstairs with a second bedroom with a queen size and a third bedroom two twin sized beds, both appealing and private. The backyard, outdoor spaces accessible from the rear of the house separate it wholly from other rentals in the neighborhood. The newly remodeled deck is expansive, featuring plenty of seating and entertaining space for you and yours. The covered outdoor lounge just invites an evening spent under a low afternoon Colorado sun, or an awe-inspiring Colorado sunset with the Rocky Mountain foothills and Pikes Peak, America's Mountain, perhaps glowing orange-red just a couple of miles off to the west. Even winters here can be relatively mild and summer evenings in Colorado are heavenly. Enjoy them here, in this perfectly inviting, perfectly practical classic with a gas grill. Well-behaved pets (and their owners!) are welcome here, and they'll relish the private, fully-fenced backyard space as much as you will! Window AC units will be installed before summer! The home is completely private to you. You will have access to the entire home and backyard with the exception of the shed in the back. The Neighborhood: Located on the west side of Colorado Springs, Old Colorado City is almost a separate, "artisan" urban area just a couple miles west of Downtown. Featuring art galleries, small, locally owned restaurants, bars and cafes this area is unique, wholly appealing and historic. Old Colorado City is also just a short distance to Manitou Springs, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Red Rocks Canyon, and so much more. Easy access to so much, be it by foot or car, centrally located and in the shadows of the Rocky Mountain foothills—this is Colorado Springs at its BEST. Getting Around: Although restaurants, shops, parks and other attractions are located within walking & biking distance from this property, we recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in Colorado Springs. Also, we can provide you with specific bus routes to help you get around. Other Things to Note: ATTENTION: Video Surveillance: – The Property has security cameras placed in the following areas: Locations of all Security Cameras: 1. Exterior wall pointed at the entry way This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the cases of a break-in, death, injury, guests sneaking in pets, guests disregarding the maximum occupancy allowed, and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund. The full deposit will be forfeited if any of the above are found. You will also be asked to leave the property immediately without any money returned. * We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc. * Up to 2 dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($50/dog/week). No pets other than dogs allowed - we are sorry! * No smoking or vaping (of any kind) is allowed indoors; * Garbage bins are located in the back alley. Please let us know if the trash is overflowing - we will fix that for you! * There are two window AC units in the main floor bedroom as well as the top floor queen bedroom. The twin bedroom window does not support a window AC so there are 2 large fans available. Additional services: - Early Check-in Service $25/hr (Early as 2 pm) - Late Checkout Service: $25/hr (Late as 12 pm) Additional Fees (Price is included with Airbnb reservations): Non-Refundable Damage Deposit Waiver: - Instead of charging a security deposit, Hoste charges a non-refundable $29 damage waiver fee that covers up to $2,500 for damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of your acts or omissions. Please see house rules or the rental property agreement when you book for more information about how the damage waiver works. Because the damage waver fee is Non-Refundable; If a Guest changes properties for any reason they May be charged a new damage waver fee for the new property at the discretion of the property Manager. Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of your stay. For the protection of all parties, the booking party will also be required to provide a copy of a valid government issued ID and matching credit card prior to check in. For any stays over 28 days, guests will be required to complete an additional verification process.
