Den: Queen Sofa Sleeper The Bray House is a classic, two-level, mountain home tucked away at the end of a private wooded cul-de-sac in Teton Village, offering guests a great location in either winter or summer. There is a large deck with lots of opportunity to enjoy the Jackson Hole fresh air! Winter guests will appreciate the heated boot room with benches and boot dryers before taking advantage of the ski-on/ski-off access available when conditions allow operation of the Moose Creek Chairlift. You will be amazed at how abundant the wildlife is, and so close! Keep your camera at the ready for moose, elk, deer, or foxes strolling through the property! The front door of the Bray House leads into a sizable entry area with plenty of closet space. There is a large, well-equipped kitchen featuring a sunny breakfast nook that seats 6, and a convenient pass-through window into the dining area. The dining room table easily accommodates 10 people. The spacious living room offers stunning views of Sleeping Indian Mountain from oversized picture windows. The north wall is constructed entirely of rock and contains a large wood-burning fireplace. Firewood is provided to guests free of charge. A flat screen television, DVD, and stereo make this a very comfortable room to relax in after a day on the slopes. Rendezvous Mountain Rentals provides all guests with access to free wireless internet, expanded basic cable packages and free local calling as part of their rental rate. Adjacent to both the living room and kitchen is an over-sized outdoor deck. A picnic table, built-in seating, deck furniture and a 6-person Jacuzzi make this a great outdoor space. A large BBQ grill is also located on the deck, providing the perfect opportunity to create your own western BBQ In Wyoming. On the main level of the Bray House there is a king bedroom with a full bath. The stairway leads down into a roomy den area. Once the privacy screen is drawn, it doubles as a 5th bedroom with a queen sleeper sofa and a flat screen TV. The king master bedroom and en-suite bath are located on the lower level. There are two additional bedrooms, one with twin beds, the other with extra-long twin beds that can be converted to a king bed upon request. Each of these rooms have private bathrooms with walk-in showers. All the bathrooms have been renovated with natural stone tiles. Additional storage and laundry facilities are in the hall between the twin bedrooms. This Teton Village home is ideally situated for enjoying the world class skiing at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in winter or for an exciting, fun-filled activity packed summer vacation! A variety of restaurants with delicious menus will satiate your well-earned hunger after a day spent outdoors in the fresh mountain air. Minutes away lies the Moose Wilson entrance to Grand Teton National Park. This route often rewards with up-close sightings of bears with cubs, moose, elk, deer, foxes, beavers, osprey, red-tailed hawks, and more! In summer, you’re within about a 10-15 minute walk to a wide variety of activities in Teton Village. Your family and friends will keep busy in the Grand Adventure Park learning the ropes course, bouncing around on the bungee trampoline, and taking a shot at the climbing wall. You can also enjoy hiking the on-site trails spilling over with beautiful wildflowers, testing your mountain biking skills on lift accessed trails of all ability levels, taking a guided tour of the Via Ferrata climbing routes, and trying out the disc golf. Riding the “Big Red” tram to the top of Rendezvous Mountain for 360-degree views of the Tetons and splendor of the valley spread out below you is a must. Pop into Corbet’s Cabin at the top of the tram for their famous homemade waffles. Take a selfie on the tram dock! For a change of pace, take a short 15-minute scenic drive past open ranchland with grazing cows and horses into the historic town of Jackson. Snap some photos beneath the famous elk antler arches on the Town Square, stroll along the old-time wooden boardwalks surrounding the Square, and stop into one of the many art galleries featuring Western art and sculptures from world renowned local artists. Taste one (or two!) of the many delicious homemade ice cream flavors at Moo’s Gourmet Ice Cream while you relax on a wooden bench in the park. Explore the shops filled with unique handicrafts, clothing and gifts, many of them made by wonderfully talented local artisans. Take home a treasured reminder of your vacation from one of the fine jewelry shops featuring Teton inspired jewelry, imbedded with diamonds, gemstones and even elk ivory.
