Located just a short, flat block from the nearest beach, (see map), the Mitchell's Cove Beach House is a single-level family-friendly sunny home with a welcoming floor plan, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a private, fenced backyard including patio and hot tub area. The front courtyard is completely private with patio seating, and an excellent spot for morning brunch or evening barbeques. The kitchen is fully- equipped and centrally located to offer relaxed gathering space in either adjacent living room or dining area and includes a cozy gas stove to take the chill off of a cool morning. From the dining area, you can step down into the extra large and bright family room, where you can access the attractively landscaped backyard and semi-private hot tub area. The living room fireplace creates a lovely evening ambiance on cool summer nights. The master bedroom with king sized bed has patio doors that open to the peaceful garden and sounds of the Monterey Bay nearby. A short walk takes you directly to the stairs of Mitchell's Cove Beach.  This vacation home is 1.5 miles to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk - the West Coast's last remaining seaside amusement park. An even shorter distance away is the Surfing Museum, well-respected surf spot called Steamers Lane, Lighthouse Point and Natural Bridges State Park. Downtown Pacific Street is just a short ride away, where restaurants and nightlife abound. Additional Pet fees do apply, per pet. Dogs must not exceed 45lbs and must be more than 1 year old. During this time of uncertainty in the travel market, we want to bring to light some of the advantages of staying in a vacation rental. For our friends within driving distance, this means being able to drive to the coast in the comfort of your own vehicle, prepare your meals in a well-provisioned kitchen, and sleep in your own private vacation home, thereby avoiding more communal environments.   Cleanliness and safety in our homes is always our number one priority, and I want to personally assure you that we have expanded our already strict cleaning protocols and added additional housekeeping staff to take extra precautions between guests. We are sanitizing all high touch surfaces such as door knobs, light switches, faucets, and handles and opening windows and doors to allow fresh salt air to circulate, and we have outfitted each rental with disinfectants that can be used by guests that are in-house.
