    Bozeman, Montana is a peaceful little town located in the Rocky Mountains just north of Yellowstone National park. Although Bozeman is small and remote, it is still an exciting location to visit. Visit Yellowstone to witness firsthand the largest geyser in the world, the Steamboat Geyser. The park also has beautiful hiking trips through the Rocky Mountains and plenty of wildlife to see. With nearly 70 different species of mammals, 300 species of birds, 6 species of reptiles and much more. Yellowstone National Park is definitely a bucket list item to visit.

    In the winter time, there is plenty of skiing located in the area. Big Sky is approximately 1 hour outside of the town or visit the Bridger Bowl which is located approximately 20 minutes outside of town. Both of these mountains have plenty of terrain for all levels of skiers. So head out to the mountains and enjoy your time in the snow with you and your family.

    Get There and Get Around:

    Located 15 minutes outside of the town is Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport with services to Bozeman, Yellowstone, and Big Sky. Once landed, you can choose to take one of the free shuttle buses, a taxi, rideshare, or rental car in order to get to town and to get around town both night and day.

    What to Wear (The Weather):

    Weather in Bozeman changes dramatically throughout the year. In the summertime, the temperature can get as high as 85°F and in the wintertime, the temperature will drop to as low as 5°F. So depending on the time of the year will tell you what to pack, summertime travel with light wear but bring a jacket just in case. In the wintertime be sure to pack heavy jackets to keep you warm during your stay and book a rental with a fireplace and heater. Precipitation is pretty common year-round so be sure to pack a rain jacket just in case.
