Meet Van Wilder! Our BRAND NEW 2019 4x4 Mercedes Sprinter comes fully equipped with all the bells and whistles. This vehicle is perfect for a couple or solo traveler looking to hit the open road and find adventure or those just looking to sample #Vanlife. If you are looking for something way more comfortable than camping but don't want the stress & cost of driving a big RV, this is for you! Parks in a regular parking spot and good on gas. This van is very cozy and roomy, plenty of height to stand up (no crouching) and plenty of room for your four-legged friend (yes, we are pet friendly!) This is the perfect van for any season! It's fully insulated and includes a separate rear heating system that runs off the main diesel tank. It is also equipped with mud/ snow tires and 4 wheel drive to assist you in snowy conditions. We also have an awning attached to the roof for those sunny or rainy days. Not used to driving a big vehicle? Dont worry! Van Wilder comes with lane departure assist, a back up camera and blind spot monitoring to keep you extra safe on the road. Main Features and What’s Included: Kitchen: Built in Sink and Two Burner Gas Stove, pots & pans, silverware and cooking utensils, FRENCH COFFEE PRESS! Electric Dometic fridge unit. Bed: 6’’ memory foam queen mattress with down comforter, linens and 2 pillows Storage: Plenty of storage for all your clothes and adventure gear with two large overhead cabinets and massive garage located under bed with a slide out. Electrical: Two 110v AC outlets, dimmable overhead LED lights, TWO two-way vent fans in rear cabin. Solar panels and a yeti 3000w lithium battery / inverter that can charge off of solar, running the vehicle or shore power. PET POLICY: Want to bring your four legged friend with you? No problem! All of our vans are pet friendly for a fee ($75). PICK UP AND DROP OFF LOCATIONS: Upon check out, you will select where you would like to pick up and drop off the vehicle. We offer free pick-ups and drop-offs from the following: REI parking lot in the Corte Madera Shopping center or The Sports Basement locations in Novato or Santa Rosa. We also offer free pick up and drop offs from our HQ in Santa Rosa where we have secure parking onsite. At this time, we are not offering delivery to airports or personal residences. PICK UP AND DROP OFF: Rentals are Calculated on a 24-hour Basis: The rental period is generally considered to be 24 hours. If you pick up the van at 10 am, you’ll be expected to return it around 10 am. We also can accommodate requests for a few extra hours at $20/hour. Alternatively, if you want to pick up in the morning and drop off in the evening, simply select the optional half day add-on when completing your reservation, this will also give you an extra 100 miles for the day. PICK UP AND DROP OFF TIMES: There is no set pick up and drop off time but all vans must be picked up or dropped off within our normal business hours of 9-5pm. If you wish to return a vehicle later than 5pm, please purchase an additional night. You’ll make arrangements suited to your needs and schedule with us before your departure. You can indicate your preferred pick up and drop off time when completing your reservation; final arrangements will be confirmed prior to pick up. INSURANCE: We require that you purchase insurance coverage for your trip. There are three different coverage options you can choose from. Please select the best coverage option for you at the time you complete your reservation. ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE: We also require 24-hour roadside assistance. Coverage includes unlimited: towing, flat tire assistance, emergency fluids delivery, battery boost, and a mobile mechanic. Many van owners require 24-hour roadside assistance as part of the rental. Where coverage is mandatory, you must either purchase our policy, or show proof of comparable coverage (such as AAA PLUS or PREMIER). MILEAGE: 100 miles per night is included in every rental. Additional miles are charged at 35 cents per mile. For example, on a four-night rental, you will have 400 free miles. If you traveled 500 miles, you would pay an additional $35 at the end of your trip. SECURITY DEPOSIT: You’ll pay a security deposit of $1,500 24-hours before your rental starts. The security deposit is returned, less any additional fees, usually no more than 7 days after you return.
