Overview
Getting outside couldn’t be more comfortable than with the Winnebago Travato. AC blows cold, heat blows hot, exhaust blows exhaust, and adventure goes adventuring.
This Winnie had all the bells and whistles to make life outside that much better. Along with the necessary creature comfort of heat and AC, there’s a TV, shower, toilet, water (both hot AND cold), microwave, stove, captain seats (the swivel kind for dramatic effect), and a generator that’s connected to the fuel tank to make life easy AF (no need to fill a random generator tank along with the tank).
I’ve been averaging about 17mpg on trips where 70 is the standard speed, and the driving experience is solid given the FWD.
What this is NOT for is going on hardcore OHV roads (if there’s a rock over 6” you’ll need to find me a new heater) but if you’re taking it out and about on beautiful gravel washboard roads at worst, this is for you.
Seriously, don’t take my van on crazy trails.
